KörkortMe privacy policy

Last updated 2026-10-09

KörkortMe works without an account. Your progress is stored only on your phone. We don't collect your name, e-mail address, location or advertising data, and the app contains no tracking or analytics.

Who is responsible for your data?

Smartevo AB (company reg. no. 559541-4920), Brommabagen 4, 168 76 Bromma, Sweden, is the data controller for the processing described here. Contact us at info@smartevo.nu.

Data that stays on your phone

The following is stored locally in the app and is not sent to us:

This data stays until you choose More → Reset progress or delete the app. Read-aloud uses your phone's built-in speech engine.

When you report a question

If you tap Report question, the app sends:

The report contains no name, account or device ID. Please don't write personal data in the comment. We use reports only to correct and improve the questions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in accurate content.

Reports are stored by our database provider Supabase on servers in Stockholm, Sweden. When a report is sent, Supabase, like any web service, sees your IP address in its technical logs, which are kept for a short time. Once a day a summary of new reports is e-mailed to us through the e-mail service Resend. Resend stores e-mail in the USA; the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Both providers process the data under data processing agreements.

We delete reports no later than 24 months after they arrive.

Buying Premium

Purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies; we never see your card or your name. The app only learns which period was bought and when.

The website korkortme.se

This policy also covers the website korkortme.se. The website is hosted by GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., USA). When you visit it, GitHub, like any web service, processes your IP address in technical logs to serve the pages and protect the service. The transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The website uses no cookies and no visitor statistics.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, to request restriction and to object to the processing. Because reports have no name or account, we usually can't tell which report is yours. Tell us which question and roughly when you reported it, and we'll help. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.

Children and young people

The app is meant for people studying for a Swedish B driving licence, usually from age 15-16. We don't knowingly collect personal data about anyone and don't need to know your age.

Changes

If we start processing data in a new way, for example with accounts or ads, we will update this policy before that happens and tell you in the app.
